Commercial Contracts Attorney (Remote, Engagement)
Overview
An organization is seeking an attorney with extensive commercial contracting experience to work on assignment with one of its corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts, including procurement agreements, IT-related statements of work (SOWs), and vendor contracts. Experience with confidential disclosure agreements, work orders, and amendments is a plus. Prior experience at a corporate law firm, a sophisticated boutique firm, or in-house with a major company is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and review complex commercial transaction agreements
- Handle procurement agreements, IT-related SOWs, vendor contracts, and related documents
- Review and manage confidential disclosure agreements, work orders, and amendments as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of commercial contracts experience
- Significant experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex commercial agreements
- Prior experience at a large corporate law firm, sophisticated boutique firm, or in-house legal department of a major company is preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence
- Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits
- Annualized salary range: $175,000 to $200,000, based on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
- W2 employment status with eligibility for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week
