Overview

A global AmLaw law firm is seeking a Legal Process Engineer to join its legal operations team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role involves supporting attorneys across all practice groups with various data analysis projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis for class action list reviews, incident response data, and other litigation and practice support requests
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal teams to understand and fulfill data needs
• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and ETL processes, to manage and analyze data
• Support SQL and cube data requests as needed

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Power Query and ETL processes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience working in a law firm or legal services environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys and team members
• Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and cube data requests

• Candidates must reside within commutable distance to any of the firm's offices
