Responsibilities

  • Advise and represent the organization on contractual matters.
  • Ensure all contractual activities are handled in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Review U.S. Government and commercial customer requests for proposals (RFPs), identify proposal requirements, review terms and conditions, assist in proposal development, and participate in securing required management approval for submission.
  • Negotiate and execute complex customer contracts.
  • Identify risk elements in business transactions and contracts and recommend mitigation alternatives.
  • Support program management teams and develop an understanding of the technical aspects of products and services.
  • Provide strategic analysis, recommendations, and advice related to contractual matters.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and provide contracts advice on intellectual property, indemnity, and liability.
  • Prepare documentation for legal and contract negotiations and ongoing contract relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and organized historical contractual records in alignment with departmental standards.
  • Manage a high volume of projects of various complexity at one time.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • U.S. Government contract experience.
  • Experience working with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, etc.

Salary range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD

Remote work expectations

Remote employees will work primarily offsite (from home) and may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
