Corporate Lawyer (Remote)

Overview

A global leader in the technology industry is seeking a seasoned Corporate Lawyer for a 1-month remote contract. This role involves participating in an AI fellowship program focused on shaping the future of legal AI systems by contributing expertise in contract negotiation and legal risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to evaluate AI-generated suggestions for accuracy, risk identification, and legal soundness
• Review and assess AI responses to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback
• Conduct thorough reviews of SaaS contracts to identify potential risks and negotiation opportunities
• Develop and implement contract negotiation strategies to achieve optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal AI systems meet high standards of quality and accuracy

Requirements

• In-house legal experience specializing in SaaS contract review, negotiation, and drafting
• Proven track record in contract negotiation and redlining with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of legal risk assessment and management
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder interaction and AI system feedback

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $80 - $105
• Fully remote position allowing work from any location
