Corporate M&A Attorney (Remote)

Overview

A legal staffing organization is seeking corporate transactional attorneys with extensive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity experience. These attorneys will work on assignments with leading corporations across various industries. Prior experience at a large corporate law firm and/or in-house with a major company is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal expertise in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions
• Support corporate clients on a contract basis
• Work remotely with flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of M&A and private equity experience
• Excellent academic credentials
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of residence
• Prior experience at a large corporate law firm and/or in-house legal department preferred
• Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits

• Annualized pay ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 on a full-time basis, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors
• Contract professionals are typically W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week
• Benefits include group life insurance, long-term disability (LTD), accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D), and a qualified 401(k) plan
• Eligible attorneys receive a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and professional expense stipend
