Corporate/M&A Associate

Overview

A full-service law firm specializing in complex corporate, litigation, executive compensation, and private wealth matters is seeking an experienced attorney to join their Corporate/M&A team. The firm emphasizes both the economic and legal aspects of its cases and serves founders, senior executives, ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), and their related businesses.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a leading Corporate/M&A partner on a variety of transactions, including joint ventures.
• Represent buyers and sellers in middle market transactions valued between $50 million and $1 billion.
• Advise founders and significant investors in transactions exceeding $1 billion.
• Support investment managers and wealth management platforms on spinouts and rollups.
• Engage in corporate matters involving Investment Management, Finance, Crypto and fintech, Cybersecurity and data privacy, and Tax.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of general corporate law experience, particularly in Corporate and M&A/joint ventures.
• Experience working at an AM Law 100 firm.
• Proven ability to handle a variety of transaction structures, including joint ventures.
