Dallas – Labor and Employment Attorney

Overview

The organization seeks an attorney to join its Labor and Employment team in California as a non-partnership track salaried attorney. The position is benefits-eligible, and the anticipated billable hours expectation is 1400 – 1700.

This role is expected to involve client interaction and the ability to run one’s own cases, in a reduced hours arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Support labor and employment matters within the team
• Run litigation matters end-to-end
• Conduct depositions
• Handle hearings
• Perform client-facing work as part of case management

Requirements

• At least six years (class of 2020) of law firm experience in labor and employment
• Ability to run litigation matters, take depositions, and handle hearings
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Active California bar membership is required
• Must be licensed in the jurisdiction from which telecommuting is performed

Telecommuting

Telecommuting arrangements may be considered from a home office in any U.S. state where the organization maintains an office, provided the attorney is licensed in that jurisdiction.
