Entry-Level Associate Attorney

Overview

This entry-level Associate Attorney role is for a recent (0-2 year) graduate from an accredited law school. The position involves active support of partners and close collaboration with clients across all phases of state and federal insurance coverage practice.

The employer offers a full-time, remote work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Assist partners and work closely with clients in state and federal insurance coverage practice
• Perform policy analysis
• Conduct legal research
• Draft correspondence
• Review and analyze case files
• Draft memorandums and reports
• Participate in strategy discussions
• Assist with ADR and trial

Requirements

• Full-time; remote work

Applicant Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• California (and/or Nevada, Colorado, Arizona) Bar Admission
• Excellent research, writing, analysis, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience
• Compensation is based upon 1650 billable hours annually with automatic bonuses at each additional 50 hour increment
• At the 1800 annual billable hours threshold, both automatic and discretionary bonuses are available
