  • Perform initial review of payment spreadsheets to confirm Operations-required information is present and accurate, including tax characterizations, wire instructions, and other key details, prior to authorizing solicitation.
  • Coordinate with Operations to clarify open questions on solicitation, payment details, and tax reporting.
  • Own resolution when issues arise mid-transaction by communicating proactively with clients and internal teams to manage expectations and repair trust when needed.
  • Participate in client visits as time and travel allow for both existing relationships and new business development.
  • Support market research and lead generation using public deal information, maintaining a database of pending and booked deals for trend and metric analysis (source, industry, deal size, etc.).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in M&A, banking, law and/or finance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Graduate or legal degree preferred.

  • FINRA Series 6/7 is a bonus.
  • Strong knowledge of M&A and ability to quickly review and understand complex legal documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple dynamic issues simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications / Desired Characteristics
