Estate Planning Drafter- Remote

Overview

A part-time, remote Estate Planning Attorney is needed to support the organization’s trust and estate practice. This role focuses on reviewing and finalizing estate plans prepared by an internal team.

Responsibilities

• Review estate planning documents, including revocable living trusts, drafted by the paralegal team
• Sign off on completed plans after confirming accuracy and alignment with client goals
• Provide custom language or revisions when client needs fall outside standard templates
• Communicate with the client services team regarding drafting-related questions or adjustments

Volume

• 30 to 75 trust reviews per month
• Average trust review time: +/- 1 hour

Requirements

• Active New Jersey law license (NEW JERSEY LICENSE REQUIRED)
• 3+ years of experience with drafting and/or reviewing estate plans
• Detail-oriented with the ability to review efficiently without sacrificing quality
• Comfortable working remotely and communicating with a distributed team

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Wealth Counsel

Compensation & Benefits

• $150 per trust reviewed (flat rate)
