Expert Opportunity - In-House Counsel ($100/hr, up to $2,000/week)

Overview

A leading foundational AI lab is seeking experienced in-house counsel to assist in training their latest language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks. This role involves creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated materials related to core legal workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate commercial agreements
• Create and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
• Perform commercial contract redlines
• Prepare due-diligence issue lists and memos
• Conduct clause-risk analyses
• Review NDAs and vendor agreements
• Summarize negotiation positions
• Track obligations and renewals

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a transactional attorney or contracts manager reviewing commercial agreements
• Direct ownership of redlining, negotiating, or diligence-reviewing contracts
• Expert-level skills in document, spreadsheet, and slide deck creation and editing
• Excellent written communication and strong attention to detail

Compensation & Commitment

• $100 per hour
• Flexible commitment of 5-20 hours per week, with the option for more
• Fully remote position with the ability to work on your own schedule
• Immediate start date
