Family Law Attorney

Overview

A California-based family law firm specializing in sophisticated family law matters, including high-net-worth divorce and complex asset division, is seeking an experienced Family Law Partner. The firm operates fully remotely with dedicated infrastructure supporting attorneys in administrative, billing, and marketing functions.

Location

• Fully remote (California-based)

Compensation

• Approximately $300,000 base salary
• On-target earnings (OTE) of $430,000+

Responsibilities

• Manage complex family law cases from intake through resolution
• Represent high-net-worth clients in divorce, custody, and support matters
• Handle sophisticated asset division, including businesses and alternative assets such as cryptocurrency
• Lead litigation strategy, including court appearances and trials
• Draft motions, declarations, and settlement agreements
• Maintain and grow a portable book of business

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of California family law experience
• Active membership in the California Bar
• Experience with high-net-worth and complex asset cases
• Strong litigation and trial experience
• Demonstrated client origination with a book of business approximately $500,000 or more
• Strong legal writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS)
• Membership in the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists (AAML) or similar organizations
• Experience practicing in Marin County or the Bay Area
• Experience with business valuation or cryptocurrency-related matters
