An established family law firm based in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join their team. This role is suitable for a paralegal with strong litigation experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and is dedicated to providing compassionate support to clients involved in complex divorce and custody cases. The position offers remote work flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all stages of family law litigation, including initial strategy meetings and post-judgment client care.
• Prepare discovery documents, pleadings, motions, and mediation materials to support case strategies.
• Assist in resolving disputes creatively, aiming to help clients reach agreements outside of court when possible.
• Maintain client confidence and provide clear communication during contested matters.
• Demonstrate a professional and approachable demeanor in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of family law litigation experience in Texas.
• Strong understanding of contested family law matters.
• Client-focused with practical judgment and empathy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
