General Litigation Defense Attorney (Full-time Permanent)

Overview

A legal services organization is seeking a General Litigation Defense Attorney with at least 2 years of experience defending general litigation claims. This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and/or New York.

Responsibilities

• Manage a general litigation caseload
• Collaborate with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
• Handle court appearances, depositions, and examinations under oath
• Communicate with clients and provide regular status updates

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general litigation defense
• Experience preparing pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and/or New York
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, professional law firm environment
• Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $125,000 - $150,000, based on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
