Overview
A law firm is seeking a Remote Part-Time Immigration Attorney to conduct initial client consultations on a flexible schedule. This role involves guiding prospective clients through various immigration law matters from a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 10–12 brief consultations per day via Zoom or phone, 2–3 days per week
- Handle a wide range of immigration issues including family-based immigration, employment-based visas, removal defense, non-immigrant visas, and investment visas
- Assess case viability and recommend appropriate legal strategies
- Provide fee quotes to prospective clients
- Collaborate with an in-house team to convert consultations into new clients
- Focus solely on legal assessment and client engagement, with consultations scheduled and initiated by an in-house call center
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years practicing immigration law
- At least 5 years of direct client consultation experience
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in any U.S. state
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly
- Proficiency with Zoom/video conferencing and VOIP systems
- Comfortable using CRM and case management tools (experience with Lali Law CRM is a plus)
