In House Employment and Commercial Transactions Attorney (Remote)

Overview

A global organization is seeking a contract in-house Corporate Counsel with expertise in employment law and commercial contracts. This role involves advising on day-to-day employment law issues across a multi-state workforce and supporting commercial contracts within a manufacturing environment. Experience with tariffs is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on employment matters affecting a multi-state workforce
• Support and review commercial contracts related to manufacturing operations
• Counsel the business on workplace issues and multi-state employment compliance

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing in state of residence
• Minimum of 5 years legal experience with a strong focus on employment law and commercial contracts
• Experience working with commercial contracts in a manufacturing setting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Outstanding professional references

Position Details

• Schedule: Part-time (10-20 hours per week)

Compensation

• Annualized pay ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 on a full-time equivalent basis
• Actual pay rate depends on experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market factors, and candidate preferences
