Innovation Attorney (PE/M&A)

Overview

This role is with a leading global law firm seeking an AI & Innovation Attorney to sit at the intersection of M&A and Private Equity, technology, and innovation. The position supports the modernization of deal work by translating substantive legal expertise into scalable tools and knowledge infrastructure used firm-wide.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pilot AI, automation, and technology opportunities for M&A and PE matters
• Evaluate, prototype, and implement AI-assisted tools, document automation, and prompt libraries
• Enhance M&A and PE drafting resources with current market terms and structures
• Analyze and refine precedents and drafting materials using AI-assisted review tools
• Build and maintain scalable precedent and knowledge infrastructure
• Lead training sessions for attorneys on AI tools and new workflows

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of M&A and/or Private Equity legal practice experience
• Demonstrated passion for AI and a clear point of view on its application to legal workflows
• Experience building or maintaining precedent and knowledge infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

• Personal or professional coding or tech-building experience highly valued

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation range: $250,000–$290,000
