Overview

A legal team is seeking an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of defense experience. Candidates with insurance defense experience are preferred but not required. This role supports legal staff and counsel in a hybrid work environment and emphasizes professional and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and oversee research projects delegated to paralegals
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and reports
• Communicate effectively with persuasive verbal and written skills
• Manage time and organizational tasks efficiently
• Deliver high-quality legal work products

Requirements

• 3-5 years of defense litigation experience; insurance defense or personal/bodily injury litigation experience preferred
• Licensed member of the California State Bar
• Proficient with technology and automation tools, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
