Intake Attorney Manager

Overview

A legal firm specializing in personal injury cases is seeking an Intake Attorney Manager to lead and supervise the intake attorneys within the intake department. This full-time, remote position involves overseeing case evaluations, managing client escalations, and assisting in converting qualified leads into signed clients. Candidates located near Lake Mary, Florida, are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise intake attorneys in the intake department
• Review potential cases to ensure they meet firm criteria and guidelines
• Support intake attorneys during client consultations
• Handle client escalations and complex intake situations requiring attorney involvement
• Consult directly with prospective clients who request or require attorney interaction before signing
• Assist in converting qualified leads into retained clients
• Ensure adherence to proper procedures, documentation, and qualification standards by intake attorneys
• Monitor intake performance and maintain high standards of client service
• Collaborate with intake leadership to maintain efficient intake operations

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar license in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years legal experience, preferably in plaintiff-side litigation or personal injury
• Experience conducting client consultations and case evaluations
• Strong communication and persuasion skills with potential clients
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced intake environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in personal injury or mass tort intake
• Experience supervising attorneys or legal teams
• Background in legal intake or client acquisition environments

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual base salary ranging from $120,000 to $160,000, depending on experience
• Eligibility for a year-end discretionary performance bonus
