IT Commercial Contracts Attorney (Remote, Engagement)

Overview

An organization is seeking an experienced attorney with expertise in technology and commercial contracting to work on assignment with one of its corporate clients. The role involves drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts and technology agreements, including SaaS, cybersecurity, reseller agreements, professional services, platform, and auditing contracts. Experience with Artificial Intelligence agreements is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and review complex technology transaction agreements
• Manage a broad range of commercial contracts related to technology and services
• Collaborate with corporate clients to support their contracting needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in technology and commercial contracts
• Significant experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex technology agreements
• Prior experience at a large corporate law firm, a sophisticated boutique firm, or in-house with a major company is preferred
• Excellent academic credentials
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence
• Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits

• Annualized pay ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 on a full-time basis; contract pay rates depend on experience, qualifications, location, market factors, and candidate preferences
