Labor & Employment Attorney (California)

Overview

An established national Am Law 100 firm is expanding its California Labor and Employment practice and seeking a Partner-level Labor & Employment Attorney. This role is ideal for an experienced management-side employment lawyer looking to grow their practice, lead complex matters, and expand client relationships with the support of a national platform. The position offers remote flexibility within California.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex labor and employment matters, including wage and hour class actions and PAGA litigation
• Supervise legal teams and collaborate with firm leadership
• Develop and expand client relationships across markets
• Contribute to building and leading the firm’s California Labor and Employment platform
• Utilize firm resources and infrastructure to support practice growth and matter management

Requirements

• Established management-side California Labor & Employment practice
• Strong experience in wage and hour class actions and PAGA litigation
• Active presence in California (remote work within California supported)
• Proven ability to lead complex matters and supervise legal teams
• Portable book of business with a demonstrated growth trajectory
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach to practice development
