Legal Assistant

Overview

This role involves helping evaluate and improve advanced AI legal research and reasoning systems. The work includes conducting U.S. legal research, reviewing AI-generated legal answers, and providing expert feedback to improve accuracy and reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct U.S. legal research and statutory/case-law analysis
• Review and fact-check AI-generated legal answers
• Verify citations and authoritative sources
• Identify incorrect legal reasoning and jurisdictional issues
• Draft and review legal memoranda and documents
• Provide expert feedback and evaluation criteria for AI systems

Requirements

• 3–8 years of relevant U.S. legal experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Expertise in one or more listed practice areas
• Ability to independently analyze complex legal questions
• U.S. Bar admission
• JD/LL.M. preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• AI/LegalTech or legal-content evaluation experience
