Overview
This role supports the evaluation and improvement of advanced AI legal research and reasoning systems. The organization is seeking experienced U.S. attorneys and legal professionals to conduct legal research, verify outputs, and provide expert feedback on legal reasoning and citation accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct U.S. legal research and statutory/case-law analysis
- Review and fact-check AI-generated legal answers
- Verify citations and authoritative sources
- Identify incorrect legal reasoning and jurisdictional issues
- Draft and/or review legal memoranda and documents
- Provide expert feedback and define evaluation criteria for AI systems
Qualifications
- 3–8 years of relevant U.S. legal experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Expertise in one or more practice areas
- Ability to independently analyze complex legal questions
- U.S. Bar admission and JD/LL.M. preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- AI/LegalTech or legal-content evaluation experience is a plus
