Legal Associate – Evaluator | Fully Remote | Part-Time

Overview

This role supports an AI training project in collaboration with a global AI and language technology organization. The work involves evaluating and improving AI’s legal reasoning by applying expertise in legal analysis, contract review, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment.

No previous AI training or data annotation experience is required—project guidelines will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic legal tasks based on your legal experience (e.g., contract review, legal research, regulatory analysis, policy comparison, due diligence).
• Review AI-generated legal analyses and contract summaries, including:
  • Verifying cited laws
  • Checking interpretations of key provisions
  • Assessing relevance to the applicable jurisdiction
• Evaluate AI-prepared compliance assessments and risk summaries, identifying overlooked obligations and risks related to:
  • Liability
  • Termination
  • Confidentiality
  • Payment terms
• Provide corrected analyses, suggested clause revisions, and concise legal commentary that supports:
  • Interpretation of provisions
  • Risk assessment
  • Business decision-making

Requirements

• Experience in legal practice, contract review, legal research, or compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field, or a recognized legal qualification.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bar admission or relevant professional certifications (a plus, but not required).
