Legal Consultant - Financial Services

Overview

An opportunity is available for experienced legal professionals specializing in Financial Services to join a fast-growing team. This role offers exposure to Fortune 500 clients based in Singapore and the chance to expand your skill set within a dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 to 10 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE)
• Significant experience in financial services
• Strong transactional background in macro or credit products with the ability to manage end-to-end matters independently
• Experience in both private practice and in-house roles within financial institutions is highly preferred
• Ability to provide clear, commercially focused legal advice under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a variety of banking and finance transactions, including structuring, documentation, and regulatory considerations
• Offer advisory input on transactional matters beyond pure negotiation
• Advise front office teams on macro and credit products
• Support business-as-usual transactional workflows, including reviewing, drafting, and advising on a range of market-related agreements
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Singapore and regional markets
• Identify, assess, and manage legal risks in accordance with internal policies and regulatory expectations
