Overview

This role involves reviewing AI-generated legal text (such as simple contracts, privacy policies, and terms of service) to ensure the content is clear, accurate, and makes sense. You will act as a “common sense” filter for legal AI outputs by validating facts, simplifying language, and confirming proper categorization and rule adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Simple fact-checking: Verify the use of correct names, dates, and basic laws for your country.
  • Clarity checks: Rewrite sentences that are too long or confusing to make them simple and easy to understand.
  • Document categorization: Help the AI sort documents into the right categories (e.g., Rental Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement).
  • Rule following: Check that the AI followed the required “playbook” rules (e.g., late fees not more than 5%).

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (minimum).
  • Native language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language so you can recognize how legal documents are typically written in your country.
  • English proficiency: B1 (Intermediate) English to understand project instructions.
  • Attention to detail: Ability to carefully review content and not overlook fine print.

Assessment & Verification

  • Complete a subject-specific qualification exam to determine suitability for the position.
  • Complete ID verification as part of the hiring process.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay rate: $20 - $50 USD per hour.
  • Payment terms: Defined for each project.

Location

  • Remote work (based on the project).

Equal Opportunity

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for a contractual relationship without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status. Selection is based on qualifications, merits, competence, and performance without regard to any characteristic related to diversity.
