Legal Expert, AI Content Review

Overview

This is a remote, short-term consulting engagement supporting an AI content evaluation project. The work involves reviewing written material and applying legal judgment to assess quality, accuracy, and context. Immediate availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Review legal content for accuracy, consistency, and appropriate context.
• Identify gaps in reasoning, ambiguous language, or conclusions that need further qualification.
• Assess whether explanations distinguish established legal principles from context-dependent interpretations.
• Document findings clearly and suggest practical improvements.

Requirements

• Professional experience in legal practice, in-house advisory, legal research, or a related legal role.
• Professional experience working with U.S., UK, Canadian, or another common-law legal system.
• Experience analyzing legal documents and translating complex issues into clear written guidance.
• Broad legal knowledge and comfort reviewing material beyond a single narrow specialty.
• Sound judgment when identifying unsupported claims, missing context, or questions requiring further research.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide concise, well-supported feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with legal editing, quality review, or work spanning multiple jurisdictions.

Compensation & Benefits

• $80–$100/hour, depending on experience.

• Short-term engagement totaling approximately 20–30 hours of work in total.
