Legal Operations Specialist (Remote)
Overview
An organization in the alternative legal services industry is seeking a Legal Operations Specialist to enhance the effectiveness of client legal departments. The organization provides on-demand legal talent and technology-driven solutions to over 1,500 legal departments worldwide, serving a diverse client base including Fortune 100 companies and small to medium-sized businesses. The role focuses on designing and implementing strategic operational improvements, managing legal operations processes, and integrating contract lifecycle management (CLM) and AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Manage and map client legal operations processes
- Design and implement new process roadmaps
- Evaluate and assist clients in selecting CLM tools such as Ironclad, Agiloft, ContractPod, and Luminance
- Implement AI tools and promote their use within legal teams
- Develop and maintain resource materials on operational processes
- Improve contracting systems by developing and uploading templates
- Support project coordination and process management activities
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience optimizing in-house legal operations workflows
- Knowledge of legal department KPIs
- Experience in budget and spend management, including e-billing
- Expertise in CLM implementation
- Experience with AI technologies
- Proficient in software implementation and integrating new systems
- Strong background with legal operations technology
- Preferred experience with the CLM tool Luminance
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated total compensation ranges from $71,250 to $309,750 per year, based on experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs
