Litigation Associate Attorney

Overview

This position is for a Litigation Associate Attorney to join a growing legal team. The role involves full-time work with both remote and hybrid options available.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, including complaints, motions, and oppositions
• Draft and review discovery, including meet-and-confer letters and discovery motions
• Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in court
• Take and defend percipient and expert depositions
• Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials
• Participate actively in trial
• Strategically litigate cases by obtaining key evidence to develop the case file
• Draft mediation briefs and attend mediation while actively participating in settlement negotiations
• Maintain regular client communication
• Assist in managing litigation assistants and paralegals
• Attend regular trainings for professional development

Requirements

• Must have California bar admission
• 3–6 years of Personal Injury Litigation experience
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Highly motivated to learn and grow
• Highly organized
• Resourceful and persistent

Preferred Qualifications

• Civil litigation or personal injury experience is a plus
