Litigation Attorney

Overview

A respected litigation firm is seeking 1–2 experienced Litigation Attorneys to join its Los Angeles office in fully remote roles. This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse mix of complex matters including insurance defense, habitability, premises and product liability, and personal injury defense.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of 8–30 matters involving landlord-tenant, habitability, personal injury, and product liability defense
• Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, pre-trial, and trial preparation
• Make court appearances and attend site inspections
• Supervise junior associates and collaborate with legal assistants and support staff
• Provide timely and effective client communication and reporting
• Work directly with Partners, offering litigation support and case management

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
• Experience with landlord-tenant, habitability, personal injury, premises liability, or products liability
• Trial experience preferred
• California Bar license required
• Ability to work independently and quickly adapt
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset
