Overview

An organization is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney Specialist to contribute expertise in courtroom practice, procedural strategy, and case management to the development of advanced AI tools for the legal field. This contract role involves working remotely to evaluate and improve AI-generated legal outputs, helping to shape the future of AI-assisted legal reasoning and professional support.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AI-generated legal content for accuracy, clarity, and logical rigor
• Simulate litigation scenarios and evaluate legal arguments and authorities
• Identify reasoning flaws and document reproducible performance gaps in AI models
• Collaborate with the team to refine prompts, evaluation metrics, and standards
• Engage with AI models on topics including pleadings, motions, discovery, trial advocacy, evidence, appellate strategy, and client counseling

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law
• Significant litigation experience in civil, criminal, or administrative proceedings
• Strong command of procedural and evidentiary rules
• Ability to articulate legal reasoning clearly and precisely

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in appellate advocacy, legal writing, or academic teaching

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $40 to $70 per hour, with exact rate based on experience, expertise, and geographic location
