This is a full-time, one-year Litigation Fellowship for recent law school graduates beginning September 1, 2027. The fellowship focuses on the Separation of Powers practice area, challenging the modern administrative state's accumulation of legislative, executive, and judicial power in unelected agencies. The work centers on reviving the nondelegation doctrine, enforcing limits on agencies' delegated authority, and challenging in-house agency adjudication that usurps Article III judicial power and denies individuals their Seventh Amendment right to a jury trial.
The fellowship offers hands-on experience in public interest law, working alongside junior and senior attorneys on precedent-setting cases that defend individual liberty and property rights.
The organization has offices in Arlington, VA; Sacramento, CA; and Palm Beach Gardens, FL, with approximately half the staff working remotely nationwide. Fellows will gain the richest experience by spending several days per week in the Arlington, VA office, though remote participation is also available.
Applications are accepted from August 14 to November 1. Only two fellowship spots are available in the Separation of Powers practice area, so early application is encouraged. Offers are expected to be extended by January.
Applicants must submit:
Applicants should apply only to the practice area they are most interested in. There is an option to indicate interest in other practice areas within the application.
Remote-friendly employer
This employer lets employees choose to work remotely — most roles can be done from home — even when a posting doesn't say so explicitly. Individual roles can have exceptions, so confirm the details with the employer.
