Overview

This role is for an experienced employer-side immigration attorney to lead and scale a corporate immigration practice remotely within the U.S. The position offers a full-time opportunity with compensation ranging from $250,000 to over $1 million annually.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a corporate immigration practice specializing in employer immigration programs such as H-1Bs, PERMs, intracompany transfers, and global mobility.
  • Serve as the primary face of the practice, representing the organization in content creation, social media, client events, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR, Legal, and People Operations professionals at client companies.
  • Lead, develop, and hold a team of attorneys to high legal and operational standards.
  • Ensure aggressive service level agreements (SLAs), rigorous legal quality, and proactive client communication are consistently met.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar admission.
  • Minimum of 7 years of employer-side immigration law experience.
  • Experience managing or developing legal teams.
  • Comfort with public visibility including thought leadership, social media engagement, and client-facing events.
  • Established professional network within HR, Legal, or People Operations circles.
  • Ambition to build and scale a legal practice rather than solely managing a docket.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary provided to protect a minimum income floor.
  • Profit-sharing model:
    • For clients sourced through the organization: base salary plus profit share based on team performance.
    • For self-sourced clients: base salary plus a higher profit share percentage, reflecting ownership of the client book.
