Overview

A national law firm is seeking experienced attorneys to join its expanding practice. The firm operates as a distributed law firm leveraging technology to provide flexible, efficient, and lucrative legal services across various practice areas including Corporate, Fintech, Intellectual Property, Real Estate, and Litigation. The firm primarily supports early-stage, venture-backed companies and emphasizes a tech-forward, innovative approach.

How the Firm Operates

  • Attorneys are compensated based on a percentage of fees collected from their clients rather than a salary.
  • Unlike traditional law firms where attorneys typically receive about one-third of the value they generate, attorneys here receive a combination of collected origination and matter responsible fees.

Positions Available

  • Association as Counsel: Open to attorneys from senior in-house roles without a demonstrable book of business. Applicants must identify at least one anchor client and present a clear business development plan.
  • Partnership: Candidates for lateral partnership must demonstrate a significant transferable book of originations. Those with less experience are encouraged to apply for counsel positions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm or in-house with a reputable company.
  • Graduation from a top-tier law school or demonstrated excellent and sustained reputation in the industry.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete employment eligibility verification upon hire.

Equal Opportunity Statement

The firm is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. It evaluates qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex (including pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions, breastfeeding, and conditions related to breastfeeding), gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, ancestry, age (40 or over), physical or medical disability, medical condition, marital status, registered domestic partner status, sexual orientation, genetic information, military and/or veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by applicable state or federal law.
