Patent Agent

Overview

This role is with the organization’s Intellectual Property practice group and involves working as a Patent Agent focused on the Computer Science or Computer Engineering field. The position may be remote in any state in which the organization has an office.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of work, including patent preparation and prosecution
• Manage patent portfolios
• Conduct strategic analysis and provide opinion work
• Maintain significant client contact

Requirements

• Experience in networking, virtual networking, and cloud computing
• Experience in telecommunications, with experience in 3GPP standards preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Strong academic credentials and excellent research skills
• USPTO registration
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. and/or industry experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: up to 125k

• Remote in any state in which the organization has an office
