Patent Agent

Overview

The organization is seeking a Patent Agent to join the Intellectual Property practice group. This position focuses on work in the Computer Science or Computer Engineering field and may be remote in any state in which the organization has an office.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of patent-related work, including patent preparation and prosecution
• Manage and maintain patent portfolios
• Conduct strategic analysis and support opinion work
• Provide significant client contact

Requirements

• Experience in networking, virtual networking, and cloud computing
• Experience in telecommunications; experience with 3GPP standards is preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Academic credentials and excellent research
• USPTO registration
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. and/or industry experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Up to 125k

Location

Remote in any state in which the organization has an office.
