Patent Agent

Overview

The organization is seeking a Patent Agent in the Computer Science or Computer Engineering field to join its Intellectual Property practice group. This position may be remote in any state in which the organization has an office.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of patent-related work, including:
  • Patent preparation and prosecution
  • Portfolio management
  • Strategic analysis
  • Opinion work
• Provide significant client contact

Requirements

• Experience in networking, virtual networking, and cloud computing
• Experience in telecommunications, with 3GPP standards preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• USPTO registration
• Academic credentials and excellent research
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. and/or industry experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Up to 125k

Location

Remote in any state in which the organization has an office.
