Patent Agent

Overview

This role is for a Patent Agent in the Computer Science or Computer Engineering field to join the Intellectual Property practice group.

The position may be remote in any state in which the employer has an office.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of work, including:
  • Patent preparation and prosecution
  • Portfolio management
  • Strategic analysis
  • Opinion work
• Handle significant client contact

Requirements

• Experience in networking, virtual networking, and cloud computing
• Experience in telecommunications, particularly 3GPP standards preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Academic credentials and excellent research
• USPTO registration
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. and/or industry experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Up to 125k
