Patent Agent

Overview

The organization is seeking a Patent Agent to join its growing Intellectual Property practice group, focused on Computer Science or Computer Engineering. This position may be remote in any state in which the organization has an office.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of work, including:
  • Patent preparation and prosecution
  • Portfolio management
  • Strategic analysis
  • Opinion work
• Provide significant client contact

Requirements

• Experience in networking, virtual networking, and cloud computing
• Experience in telecommunications, particularly 3GPP standards preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Academic credentials and excellent research
• USPTO registration
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. and/or industry experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Up to 125k
