Overview
This full-time exempt attorney role supports a personal injury practice serving the Atlanta area, with offices in Marietta and Douglasville, Georgia (serving the area since 2018). The position is responsible for managing a pre-litigation caseload, generating demand letters, initiating and overseeing litigation, and handling negotiations and related case work.
Responsibilities
- Manage a pre-litigation caseload
- Generate demand letters
- Initiate and oversee the litigation process
- Negotiate pre-litigation matters
- Review and analyze the validity of cases
- Create legal documents
- Organize and manage case information
- Review laws and regulations relevant to each matter
- Maintain consistent communication with clients during the pre-litigation phase
- Maintain heavy communication with clients and adjusters
- Work closely with case managers and other support staff during the pre-litigation phase
- Initiate welcome calls with new clients
- Gather case details, including photos, treatment information, and insurance information
- Conduct settlement proceedings
- Negotiate liens and final balances with treating providers
- Correspond with medical providers to ensure clients receive adequate medical treatment
- Assist with property damage when needed
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including matters with jurisdiction in federal court
Requirements
- License in good standing to practice law in Georgia (Georgia Bar required)
- Minimum of 5 years Plaintiff Personal Injury experience
- Experience with pre-litigation and litigation, including trial
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle tasks quickly and tactfully with all levels of firm personnel and the public

Compensation & Benefits
- First 90 days: guaranteed salary of $160,000
- After 90 days: base salary changes to $110,000.00
- Monthly bonus incentives: up to $10,000 per month
