Product Liability Litigation Attorneys

Overview

A national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking experienced litigation attorneys to join its product liability practice group in the Hartford office. While a minimum of three years of litigation experience is preferred, candidates with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills, a strong academic background, and the ability to manage a large caseload including high exposure cases nationwide. Preference will be given to those with deposition, oral argument, and mediation experience. Trial experience is preferred but not required.

Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Handle product liability litigation cases across the country
• Manage a large caseload including high exposure matters
• Participate in depositions, oral arguments, and mediations
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment

Requirements

• Licensed and admitted to practice law in Connecticut
• Minimum of three years of litigation experience preferred
• Strong litigation, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with depositions, oral arguments, and mediations
• Trial experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary ranges based on experience:
  • Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
  • Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5+ years): $140,000–$215,000
  • Partners (approximately 7+ years): $190,000–$275,000+
• Compensation is individualized based on experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market
• Eligibility for discretionary and performance-based bonuses
