Public Sector Product Counsel

Overview

A Fortune 50 technology company is seeking a Public Sector Product Counsel for a 12-month full-time remote engagement starting as soon as possible. This role involves supporting the public sector team with the integration of a recently acquired company.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a wide range of commercial technology transactions, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements
• Support public sector deals involving government customers and procurement frameworks
• Provide product counseling related to cloud offerings, addressing regulatory and compliance considerations
• Advise on authorization frameworks such as FedRAMP and similar public sector cloud compliance programs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, compliance, and go-to-market teams to support ongoing integration efforts
• Manage a balance between high-volume deal work and strategic counseling in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a product counsel, preferably with exposure to public sector technology transactions
• Ability to work full-time remotely
• Experience with government procurement and cloud compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP

Compensation & Engagement Details

• Duration: 12 months
• Schedule: Full-time
• Location: Remote
• Compensation: $650 - $750 per day, flexible based on experience
• Employment: Candidates will be employed (W-2) by a workforce solutions company for the duration of the engagement
