Overview

This role involves serving as an Insurance Defense Attorney in the organization’s New York office. The ideal candidate has experience in personal injury litigation and/or other insurance defense matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions and/or conduct depositions, oral arguments, and hearings
• Negotiate settlements and manage client reporting
• Independently handle appearances and assignments with minimal supervision
• Handle civil cases through trial

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in New York; licenses in New Jersey and New York are a bonus (additional state licensure is a plus)
• 3–12+ years of experience in Insurance Defense (Preferred)
• Experience in personal injury litigation and/or other insurance defense matters (Required)
