Revenue Cycle Attorney (US - Remote)

Overview

This role supports healthcare providers in resolving insurance claim denials and delays. You will advocate in disputes with insurance carriers and managed care organizations, applying analytical skills and contractual expertise to help drive successful claim resolutions without the stress of litigation.

Responsibilities

• Represent healthcare providers in administrative appeals for denied insurance claims.
• Develop creative and effective legal arguments to overturn claim denials.
• Draft compelling, well-researched appeal letters to insurance companies and benefit administrators.
• Use provider manuals and managed care contracts to dispute unjust denials.
• Partner with provider representatives and resolution teams to navigate complex claims.
• Identify industry trends and provide insights to strengthen recovery strategies.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support business objectives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to upholding HIPAA compliance and company policies.
