Saas Implementation Project Manager - Legal Technology 3E Finance Systems

Overview

A legal technology and operations division is seeking a dynamic 3E Project Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements. This role ensures consistent client satisfaction through strong leadership and responsive service. The Project Manager will oversee the implementation team to manage tasks, risks, and timelines effectively, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in scope while delivering exceptional value. The position involves managing multiple concurrent projects and collaborating with business and technology leaders to deliver solutions that maximize client investment.

This is a full-time, fully remote position based anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to ensure successful delivery using 3E Project Management tools.
• Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines and budgets, aligned with client expectations and organizational goals.
• Utilize 3E Project Management tools to track progress, manage resources, and report milestones to stakeholders.
• Coordinate project documentation such as project charters, status reports, and meeting notes using the 3E platform.
• Monitor and manage project risks, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues for timely resolution.
• Oversee end-to-end execution by monitoring work-in-progress and measuring milestones against actual work.

Client Engagement and Communication

• Act as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
• Manage client expectations and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Address client concerns and escalations promptly to ensure satisfaction and alignment.
• Communicate effectively across the organization, from senior business stakeholders to technical teams.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to promote collaboration in a cross-functional environment.

Resource and Risk Management

• Schedule assignments and track project tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Identify and remove blockers as needed.
• Provide direction and support to project team members.
• Identify potential risks and obstacles, develop management strategies, and address escalations professionally and timely.

Budget Management

• Keep projects on budget, including customer billing, invoice review, and addressing client invoicing questions.
• Provide timely budget utilization updates to clients, ensuring work is performed within budget.

Scope Management

• Ensure project delivery aligns with the Statement of Work (SOW).
• Manage tasks or deliverables outside the original SOW through strict Change Management guidelines.
• Participate in requirements discussions and gathering sessions, ensuring documentation and approvals are compiled into client-facing and internal documents.

Qualifications

• Project management experience implementing 3E or law firm finance systems.
• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with collaboration and project tracking tools.
• Ideally, 3+ years of experience with the firm’s services and/or clients or prior experience in the legal software industry.
• Competence in problem solving, customer focus, communication, collaboration, organizational support, quality focus, and punctuality.
• Authorized to work in the country of residence without restriction or sponsorship.
