- Collaborate across product, compliance, risk, engineering, and operations teams to provide early legal perspectives and act as a proactive thought partner.
- Work closely with compliance teams on regulatory matters, interpreting requirements, evaluating approaches, and supporting examination readiness with FINRA and the SEC.
- Contribute to other legal areas beyond investment products to broaden expertise.
- Utilize AI tools intentionally to improve legal workflow efficiency.
- Translate complex regulatory concepts into clear, engaging narratives for internal teams and external audiences.
- Stay adaptable and continuously learn as regulations, markets, and products evolve.
Requirements

- Proactive ownership mindset with a willingness to research and resolve unknowns.
- Strong working knowledge of AI applications in legal roles or financial services and a genuine interest in leveraging AI for efficiency.
- Additional experience in financial services, payments, or fintech beyond investments/brokerage is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to develop legal perspectives that balance regulatory compliance with scalable, customer-friendly product design.
