Senior E-filing Specialist (Remote)

Overview

The organization is seeking a Senior E-Filing Specialist to serve as a subject matter expert for complex legal e-filing work. This role focuses on resolving escalations and exceptions while helping deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality results for clients. Quality is fundamental to maintaining client trust.

This position is ideal for someone who not only completes filings, but also investigates why issues occur and helps prevent repeat problems.

Responsibilities

• Complete new case initiations and subsequent filings through the entire filing lifecycle, including affidavits, motions, dismissals, and other case-related documents, following client instructions and established procedures.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex, unusual, or high-risk filing situations.
• Research and resolve rejected filings and other filing-related issues.
• Work through scenarios where standard procedures do not provide a clear answer, using research, judgment, and appropriate escalation.
• Assist with high-priority or sensitive client matters requiring elevated attention.
• Review exceptions, errors, and filing trends to identify areas of operational risk.
• Meet established turnaround times while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of prior experience with legal e-filing, court filing, legal operations, litigation support, collections, or a similar legal services environment (strongly preferred).
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfort handling escalations and situations where answers are not immediately clear.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong judgment and willingness to raise concerns when something appears incorrect or creates risk.

Compensation & Benefits

• $60,000–$65,000 annual salary, based on experience and location
