The organization is remote-first, with quarterly in-person working sessions called “surges.”

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with SEC staff and Commissioners’ offices, positioning the organization as a credible, constructive participant in the policy process.
  • Translate proposed and final rules into internal guidance for Legal, Product, and executive stakeholders, including compliance implications, operational requirements, and strategic opportunities.

  • Represent the organization externally in industry working groups and regulator engagements on market structure policy, contributing to industry-wide positions and coalition strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in securities law, market structure policy, or corporate finance, including direct, hands-on experience working at or with the SEC on rulemaking processes.
  • Deep understanding of the SEC rulemaking process and Administrative Procedure Act, with demonstrated experience drafting or responding to public rulemaking comments.
  • Substantive expertise in either trading market structure or securities issuance and corporate finance mechanics, with the ability to apply this knowledge to active digital asset rule proposals.
  • Proven ability to translate complex regulatory text into actionable guidance for cross-functional teams, including experience briefing senior executives and external regulators on policy implications.
  • Ability to use generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
