Overview
A global organization is seeking a Senior Mobility Specialist to join their Onboarding and Mobility team. This role focuses on supporting international employee transitions, ensuring compliance with immigration laws, and providing immigration and relocation assistance. The position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to global employment processes and mobility programs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor assigned immigration cases using case management and billing systems
- Provide guidance on travel needs, immigration processes, and serve as a point of contact for business travel and sponsorship cases
- Offer legal and strategic advice on immigration compliance service delivery to clients
- Manage senior-level escalations and support Mobility Specialists
- Assist leadership with large project management
- Monitor mobility dashboards and communication channels to ensure SLA adherence and accurate status reporting
- Develop and manage in-house immigration services to improve revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Analyze, prepare, and submit visa and work permit applications
- Mentor and support Mobility Specialists and Coordinators
- Contribute to training documentation and support training rollouts for new service offerings and process changes
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay updated on immigration laws and ensure ongoing compliance
- Provide solution-based responses for complex client immigration cases
Requirements
- Licensed immigration lawyer authorized to practice in Germany
- Extensive experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or related immigration roles
- Deep understanding of immigration laws and compliance processes
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
- Experience in the tech industry or hyper-growth/scaling environments is preferred
- Experience working remotely is advantageous
- Strong automation and AI capabilities and fluency
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: €63,550 to €71,500 EUR (full-time)
