This role involves working as a Solutions Attorney at a leading legal AI platform that serves over 1,500 companies, including public companies and unicorns. The organization is experiencing rapid growth and is focused on transforming legal workflows through AI technology.

Location

  • United States or Canada-based candidates.
  • Remote work is standard unless located within approximately 50 miles of the San Mateo, CA or Provo, UT offices.
  • Hybrid schedule applies for those near the offices, with in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Role Description

As a Solutions Attorney, you will combine legal expertise with AI to help customers improve their legal workflows. Responsibilities include drafting AI prompts, collaborating with customers to solve workflow challenges, and teaching courses to help lawyers adopt AI tools effectively. The role requires up to 50% travel.

Solutions Organization Tracks

Applicants should indicate their preferred track:

  • Go to Market: Partner with sales to demonstrate product value, tailor demos, and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Forward Deployed: Manage customer lifecycle, drive adoption, provide technical and strategic support, and optimize workflows.
  • Academy: Develop and manage educational content and courses related to legal AI.

Responsibilities

  • Draft AI prompts addressing real-world legal problems across various industries and practice areas.
  • Build and maintain a library of sample prompts and outputs.
  • Collaborate with in-house lawyers to understand workflows and design AI-powered solutions.
  • Serve as the Voice of the Customer by providing feedback to product teams.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to increase AI adoption.
  • Establish credibility and trust in all customer interactions.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 4 years practicing law, with at least 2 years in-house or in legal operations.
  • Strong interest and experience with AI technologies.
  • Ability to learn quickly, think critically, and apply knowledge creatively.
  • Experience with legal technology tools such as contract lifecycle management or automation software.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, including empathy and multitasking.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing or teaching training programs or workshops.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, large language model tools, or workflow automation.
  • Background in legal innovation, knowledge management, or legal tech adoption.
  • Community-building skills and enthusiasm for knowledge sharing.

Salary Ranges:

  • United States: $150,000 - $240,000
  • Canada: CAD $165,000 - CAD $260,000
